Founder’s Day is Friday, September 17th: This is a great time for parents to show their support for our wonderful schooland an even better opportunity to earn those PI Hours!Please watch for information to come home in your child’s homework folder.It will provide an opportunity for you show how you would like to help with this night of fun and friends.Thank you!!
Helpful Hints:Please encourage your child to read each night for 20 minutes. This is a great way for your child to develop vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension skills.
Help your child study addition and subtraction math facts nightly. Very soon we will begin learning our multiplication facts. Knowing math facts “as fast as a snap” is very helpful.
Agendas:
Please check and sign your child’s agenda each night. This will be an important means of communication with you this year.
Homework:
Homework will be assigned Monday - Thursday. Each night after your child has completed his or her assignments, please check the homework and sign it. The homework assignments in my class are generally routine with similar assignments each week making it easy for you to know what kind of homework assignments to expect each week.
